Where do I even begin? I’m still playing whack a tumor with my lung mets but the past 18+ months have been tough. During the summer of 2019 I suddenly went from chugging along with Xeloda with few side effects to suddenly losing my balance, short-term memory, some of my speech, as well as forgetting how to play the guitar. After thorough testing I’ve yet to find out what happened but thankfully things have improved in that area.
Fast forward to June 2020. Bone tumors were found on my hip and my spine. I completed the radiation but it was not fun at all, it kicked the crap out of me. My latest development is that my platelets and hemoglobin have nosedived to dangerously low counts. And, I have a new tumor on my tibia as well as MDS, a bone marrow disorder 😳
